Whangārei's Newest Marina
Port Nikau Marina currently accommodates 48 recreational vessels on the modern floating pontoons at Pier B and Pier C. The marina is close to deep water with up to a 6-metre draft at the outer berths. The modern berths are suitable for recreational vessels 14 metres to 20 metres, and there is space for a vessel up to 42 metres at the end of each pier. There are also 10 catamaran berths available.

Port Nikau Marina is well established as a base for recreational vessel owners, with newly built piers, modern laundry and showers, locked pier gates, private parking and CCTV coverage.
The piers are located next to the historic Tide Gauge building where the Acropolis Cafe, Bar and Grill is located, perfect for an early morning coffee or an evening meal with a marina view. Port Nikau is a five-minute drive or an easy ten-minute cycle from Whangārei CBD where you can find all the amenities that you will need during your stay.
